For the first 24-48 hours after your treatment your skin will be red and look like sunburn. You will also feel the sponge spicules in your skin. It is not uncomfortable but does take a little bit to get used to. You will continue to feel the spicules in your skin up to 72 hours after the treatment, by that time the skin would have expelled them in the healing process.

Due to accelerated skin renewal some clients may find their skin will peel or shed. This will vary from client to client and from treatment to treatment. Feedback from 1132 customers 26.24% peeled the first time, 63.78% peeled the second time, 79.15 peeled the third and 90.19% peeled the fourth time. Peeling is not something to be worried about and shows your skins healing process is at work.

Like a lot of intensive skin correction treatments, you may experience your skin getting worse before it gets better. You may see pigmentation rising to the surface and you may purge acne. It is completely normal and not something to be concerned about.

This is determined by several factors including your age, the area being treated, the quality of your skin and the extent of your damage.

In most situations, a series of 3 to 4 treatments is required. For larger areas like the stomach or back you may need 5 to 6 treatments to get the best results.

Each treatment is done in a series, 3 or 4 treatments performed 2 or 3 weeks apart. This allows the skin to get the very best out of the healing process and allows for the best results.

It is important to prepare your skin for this treatment. Sunburnt skin, skin with infections, barrier impaired skin or very sensitive skin will not achieve maximum results. If you are not currently using cosmeceutical products, there is a possibility that your skin might not be in good condition and may need additional prep work before commencing the treatment. It will be discussed in detail during your consultation.

For clients who are already using prescribed cosmeceutical skincare with optimal skin, you may not need to purchase additional products and should be be able to start a course of Bio-Microneedling right away.

However, for all clients it is recommend purchasing our prescribed skin care kit that is used during the healing phase. The kit has been purposely put together to include products that will not interfere with your treatment. We have kept the cost low and is only $69.90, it includes a cleanser, moisturiser and SPF. For some treatments you will be given additional creams or serums and this is included in your treatment cost.

Unlike traditional painful micro-needling, SQT Bio-Microneedling is not painful. With this revolutionary treatment you can say goodbye to bleeding and numbing cream.

The freshwater sponge spicules used are microscopic. Which means they are so tiny they can only be seen under a microscope. During your treatment you may feel a small amount of discomfort, as the spicules are being gently dispersed in the skin. After the spicules are in place, you are given a hydration mask to help cool the skin, which aids the healing process.

The SQT Resurfacing Repair is used to treat texture issues on the body. Such as aging on the hands and arms, stretch marks, scarring as well as back acne.
